Celebrating 25 Years of Early Minds Child Care
In 2001, Early Minds Child Care opened its doors with a simple vision: to create a place where children could learn, grow and feel truly at home.
Twenty-five years later, that vision remains at the heart of everything we do.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of caring for hundreds of children and getting to know so many wonderful families throughout Swansea and our surrounding communities. We’ve watched babies become toddlers, toddlers become preschoolers, and preschoolers head off to kindergarten — and, in some cases, we’ve even had the joy of welcoming the next generation of Early Minds families.

While so much has changed over 25 years, the things that matter most to us haven’t.
We still believe young children learn best through play, exploration and meaningful relationships. We still believe a child care center should feel warm, welcoming and personal. And we still believe that the relationships children build with their teachers are one of the most important parts of their early years.
The People Behind Early Minds
One of the things we’re most proud of after 25 years is the incredible stability of our Early Minds team.
More than 25% of our staff have been with Early Minds for 15 years or longer, and several members of our team have been part of Early Minds for much of our history.
That kind of longevity creates something very special. Our teachers know our philosophy, our families know our teachers, and children are surrounded by familiar faces and people who have devoted their careers to caring for young children.

Growing Without Losing Who We Are
Early Minds has grown considerably since we first opened our doors, but we’ve worked hard to maintain the small, home-like feeling that has always defined us.
Today, our classrooms serve children from infancy through Pre-K, providing opportunities for children to grow through each stage of early childhood while remaining part of the same Early Minds community.
Our approach remains play-based, nurturing and centered around each child’s individual development.
Thank You for 25 Wonderful Years
Reaching this milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the families who have trusted us with the most important people in their lives.
To our current families, former families, teachers and everyone who has been part of the Early Minds community over the past 25 years: thank you.
We are incredibly proud of where we’ve been — and even more excited about the years ahead.
Here’s to the next generation of Early Minds children.
